چکیده:

When subjected to ground strong motions, the dominant oscillatory periods of tall buildings are generally considerable. Consequently, in the structural analyses, the integration steps, of time integration, are mostly small, merely, because of the smallness of the seismic records digitization steps. In order to reduce the additional computational costs, in this paper, the performance of a recently proposed technique is examined regarding the analysis of a thirtystory building. The outcome was about 80% reduction of the computational cost
