چکیده:

Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV’s) are being investigated in many research programs, not only to minimize fuel consumption but also to reduce air pollution. This paper discusses fuel power modeling and simulation of a parallel hybrid electric vehicle power-train system, using ADVISOR toolbox in Matlab. Therefore, the fuel consumption is calculated from experimentally obtained steady-state maps. Fuel power can be derived from the mass of the fuel and subsequently it can be approximated by a model with proper variables using the RBF Neural Network. The methodology developed is valid for those optimal problems that are characterized by a cost function which is not an explicit function of the system states. The models are simulated on SMCAR. Simulation results are illustrated and discussed for the proposed vehicle
