چکیده:

In this study, zirconia samples are produced by a gelcasting process. The effects of the percentage of polymeric components and the sintering temperature on the green strength and the final bending strength are investigated. The results revealed that increasing the amount of monomer and cross-linker leads to an increase in the green bending strength. However, the final bending strength was decreased. Microstructural investigations indicated that increasing the sintering temperature led to an increase in the grain size and in the relative density. From the viewpoint of sintereddensity and final bending strength, the best sintering temperature is considered to be 1530°C.
