چکیده:

surface tension data of binary mixtures of water+alcohols was at the temperature of 20 C measured using optical diffraction method . The experimental values were correlated with temperature and mole fraction. The surface tension of these binary mixtures decreases with increasing linear alcohol content surface tensions for mehanol ethanol 1-propanol and 2-propanol at the various temperatures and normal atmospheric pressure have been determined. the magnitude of these experimental quantities is discussed in termsof the nature and type of intermolecular interactions and hydrogen bonding in binary mixtures.
