چکیده:

The magnetic properties of a periodic Permalloy ellipsoidal chain have been investigated by usingmicromagnetic simulations. The effect of magnetostatic interaction on the switching field is studied by changing bothaspect ratio and thickness of ellipsoidal members while boundary edge spacing is keeping fixed and the external field isperpendicular to the chain axis. The simulations showed that the switching field increases vs. ellipsoid aspect ratio. Bothintrinsic and configurational anisotropy contribute to shape the reversal process.
