چکیده:

Our goal was to develop a new method for hydrothermal synthesis of ZnO nanostructures in large scale andlow temperature. Zinc acetate dehydrate and ammonia or sodium hydroxide were used as cationic and anionic precursors,respectively. To be able to provide large amount of product, instead of Teflon lined autoclave, a 5 Lit Buchi reactor wasemployed. Hydrothermal reaction temperature and time were decreased to 115°C and 2 or 6 hrs, respectively. Twodistinct morphologies, plate-like and needle-like, were obtained.
