چکیده:

In the present study, Dynamics features, natural frequencies and mode shapes of the hexpod table are investigated using a code written in MATLAB. Since the matrices of the mass and stiffness are related to mass and inertia of the moving platform and stiffness of its supporting chain, respectively, the effect of changes in position and orientation on the change in stiffness, inertia and natural frequencies are investigated. Variations in natural frequencies of the platform under different payloads are also investigated. In the present examination, change in mode shapes of the platform as the result of change in the configuration of the manipulator has been investigated using modal assurance criterion technique. The results of computer simulation show that natural frequencies and mode shapes of table are not fixed and change with the change in configuration of platform
