چکیده:

Nd:YAG laser beam LB welding is conducted on Cu-6% Mn-6%Ni alloy sheets at different welding parameters studeis were focuses on the effects of laser power on the depth of the welds the results show that weld depth increase with laser power in this study the pulsed Nd:YAG laser with moderate power of 80w was used microstructures of the welded joints were investigated by the optical microscopy OM SCANNING ELECTRON microscopy SEM energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy EDS and micro hardness test very fine dendritic micro structure is achieved in the weld zone. the reason is attributed to the higher cooling rate in the laser welding process
