چکیده:

Here we have sensitized TiO2 photoanodes with various combinations of quantum dot sensitizers like CdS,CdSe, PbS/CdS and CdS/CdSe in order to make quantum dot sensitized solar cells. Current voltage characteristic ofcells were measured under standard AM1.5 light intensity and electron life time in cells was measured by open circuitvoltage decay method under dark and light conditions. Our results indicated that in contrast with dyes, quantum dotstrap states have a considerable effect on the mechanism of recombination in quantum dot sensitized solar cells.
