چکیده:

In this study, the interfacial polymerization technique was used. For the first time, the polyamide membranewas prepared by different number of layers (monolayer, two layers and three layers). The effect of number of layers onperformance and morphology of the membranes were investigated by using AFM image and a filtration set-up. Thismethod represented some outstanding changes in the Na2SO4 rejection (increased from 18.35% to near 63%). Moreover,for three layer membrane, AFM images introduced a dense and rough surface in comparison with other membranes
