چکیده:

Sandwich panels are present in many engineering structures specifically where the high ratio of strength to the weight is recommended. Application of sandwich panels with viscoelastic core with high damping properties will tend to better flexural strength and dynamic behaviors and sound insolation. The main aspect of present text is sensitivity analysis of natural frequencies of cylindrical sandwich panels about changing viscoelastic properties. Modeling and FEM analysis and proceeding data gathering were accomplished using ABAQUS/CAE (R). Acquired results have been verified by comparison with governing theory of sandwich shells and plates and errors between different theories and FEM has been identified. In this paper, effect of viscoelastic properties and composite lay-up and boundary condition has been brought into account
