چکیده:

In this article, a train model is developed for studying in-train forces due to braking. The model is a nonlinear two-dimensional model with 21 degrees of freedom for each wagon. All nonlinear characteristics of buffers, coupler and draft gear are included in the model. The equations of motion of the train are solved numerically for different train conditions, and the effects of braking torque on in-train forces are investigated. Also a control system is designed to control the braking torque. This control system adjusts in-train forces and the train stopping time
