چکیده:

Nanomaterials are receiving increasing attention from the technical community and the public at large. A unique aspect of nanomateriales is increased ratio of surface area to volume present. It means that the percentage of atoms in the surface of material increase when compared to volume. Usually, a number of physical properties in nano-scale change when compared to macroscopic system. Therefore surface effects are very important in nanomaterials and cause new properties in this scale [1]. Materials properties such as gold, copper, silver are very important for investigation in nano-scale. Here, the thermal properties of copper in nano-scale are investigated by molecular dynamics simulation technique in NPT ensemble [2]. The quantum Sutton-Chen many-body potential [3] was used for calculation potential energy as well as interaction force between copper atoms.
