Rutting in asphalt pavements continues to create problems for pavement agencies. Recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) as sustainable aggregates in hot mix asphalt (HMA) are therefore investigated in this research project. The purpose of this study is to evaluate mechanical properties of control and asphalt mixtures with recycled concrete aggregates. In this study, the RCA is substituted with virgin aggregates (VA) at the rate of 25, 50, 75 and 100. Use of recycle concrete that produced by crushing demolished concrete elements in this paper, can increase the efficiency of asphalt mixes, reduces primary production costs and prevents from much fullness of the recycled materials in the environment. Static and repeated creep tests were used for different loading conditions and temperatures. It was found that replacing up to 50% of the virgin aggregate by RCA improved the mechanical properties of the asphalt mixtures. The results also showed that the 25% replacement was the optimal replacement level.
