چکیده:

The siubmeged floating tunnel SFT of archimedes bridges is a new concept for crossing waterways such as sea -straits , fjords or lakes . In this study the response of SFT s subjected to the seismic loading is investigated . This seismic load represents the dynamic loading due to tsunami or earhquakde on the SFT in the form of support excitations . due to large size of these structures there is no possibility of the separation of flow and on the other hand the drag forces will be negligible incomparison to inertial effect of surrounding water.
