چکیده:

In this study, poly (sulfone-imide-amide) polymer has been used as the selective polymer layer of membrane to separate nitrogen from methane. The membrane has been produced by dip coating method. The results of gas permeation show the selectivity of polymer layer for nitrogen. The effects of pressure, feed temperature and concentration of nitrogen onpermeability and selectivity of polymer layer have been investigated. Results show that in pressures above 5 bar an acceptable selectivity was not achieved. Increase in pressure and feed temperature increased the permeability of all gases in this investigation. In the case of our experiment, increase in nitrogen concentration in the feed increases the permeability and selectivity for nitrogen
