چکیده:

Dendrimers are a new class of macromolecules which are able to load and transport small molecules such as drugs. Currently, research into dendrimers is developing into an interface between polymer, organic, inorganic chemistry and nanosciences [1]. As one of the most important class of silicon-based dendrimers, carbosiloxane dendrimers have received much attention due to their excellent chemical and thermal stability. Because of their flexible Si-O backbone and the organic substituents attached to the silicon atoms, they are hybrids between pure inorganic and organic materials, and they exhibit properties of both the organic moiety and the inorganic framework [2]. Based on reports, degradation of the peripheral carbosiloxanic blocks is a useful feature in biomedical delivery devices that could be delivered to make important biomolecules available in targeted cells, as well as in other fields, especially when slow release required, as the lifetime of many cleavable groups are dependent on the chemical environment [3]. To establish this system as a suitable carrier, the micellar properties of the dendritic amphiphilic copolymer in aqueous media were studied by fluorescence techniques and dynamic light scattering. DLS values for the micelles diameter was corresponded with the higher generation dendrimers and in good agreement with the TEM observation. In continues works also their characteristic, micellar properties in aqueous phase and development for potential applications will be examined in the future
