چکیده:

The fuel cell industry has faced a number of barriers to commercialization. Many of these barriers result from the use of platinum and platinum group metals in the fuel cell catalyst due to their cost, scarcity and technical limitations and in the consequent restrictions in the fuels they can use.New class of Nano catalysts (HYPERMEC™) has developed by Acta Company [1], being made of a blend of other transition metals, including cobalt, nickel and iron. These metals are abundant and the pricing is vastly cheaper than platinum. They are not vulnerable to carbon poisoning and the manufacturing process is robust and scaleable. They offer excellent performance. This enables the use of cheaper metals and less material at lower temperature and allows the use of ethanol and other fuels: Ethylene Glycol, Glycerol and Methanol
