چکیده:

In this paper, a new circuit configuration for thethree-phase three-wire series active power filter is proposed toeliminate voltage harmonic components. This three-phaseseries APF is made up of a two-arm bridge power converter, afilter inductor set, a filter capacitor set and a capacitor/resistorfiltering set. One phase of the three phase proposed APF,without control of the power electronic devices, connectsdirectly with any one of the dc terminals. Hence, the numberof power electronic devices employed in the proposedconfiguration can be reduced. To demonstrate the performanceof the proposed series APF, computer simulation usingPSCAD/EMTDC software has been done. Simulation resultsshow that the proposed configuration for series APF has theexpected performance.
