چکیده:

This paper presents designing an intelligent control strategy for a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) based on driving condition prediction. For this purpose, neural networks are firstly designed for driving time series prediction. The HEV controller is then optimized for a large number of ۱۰-sec driving segments. After that, the trained neural networks and the optimization results are applied for designing an intelligent control strategy for HEV. The proposed control strategy is then evaluated by HEV simulation in different traffic conditions. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach to improve the vehicle’s fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
