چکیده:

Anionic ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactam in presence of NBR leads to the formation of super tough polyamide 6 (PA6). The process of caprolactam polymerization was carried out in the presence of NBR during reactive melt mixing process and due to swelling of NBR in the molten caprolactam; separation and distribution of rubber particles to nano scale dissolution stage was provided. Experimental results showed that the composition which included 3% nitrile rubber gave better properties than the other formulations.These conditions led to the lowest residual monomer and better mechanical properties, as well. Other novelty of this investigation was nano spheres of NBR formation during melt polymerization of Polyamide 6 (PA6).
