چکیده:

in this paper microstructure and properties of TiC particle reinforced fe-based composite coatings produced by gas tungsten arc GTA hardfacting were studied the mixture of ferrotitanium FeTi powder and different amount of graphite was preplaced on a st37 steel substrate ,the surface was heated by GTA heat source the microstructure of the composite coating was investigated by means of a scanning electron microscopy SEM and energy dispersive spectrometer EDS welding tracks were found with o crack or porosity the results showed that assumed composite coatings can be achieved under suitable welding parameters.
