چکیده:

This paper presents a novel image security system based on the replacement of the pixel values using recursive cellular automata (CA) substitution, magic square algorithm and permutation of image. In this method, size ofkey is dynamic and by changing a bit of security keys the image cannot retrieve. Also the size of encryption image is equal with original image. Properties of confusion and diffusion of CA are acceptable because of the characteristics of CA substitution are flexible. Simulation results obtained using some color , white-black and gray-level images clearly demonstrate the strong performance of the proposed image security system.
