چکیده:

Development of hydrogen technologies demands efficient processes and materials for production, purification and storage. A ceramic membrane with a composite structure is prepared by depositing silica and alumina on the inner side of a tubular alumina support using dual element CVD method. FESEM images indicate formation of a dense layer with a thickness of about 100 nm. Permeation tests show that after 6 h of deposition, H2 permeance flux reduced from 5×۱۰-۵ mol/m2.s.Pa to 6.3×۱۰-۷ mol/m2.s.Pa, but high selectivities of 105 and 573 were obtained at 800°c for H2 over CO2 and CH4, respectively.
