چکیده:

In the present paper, we apply higher order shear deformation theory for the buckling analysis of orthotropic graphene sheet. Using nonlocal elasticity theory governing equations for the problem are derived. Exact solution for the buckling loads is obtained. The effects of the small scale on the buckling loads considering various material and geometrical parameters are examined. We compare the isotropic graphene sheet with orthotropic one and suggest better properties (Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio) for isotropic graphene sheet.
