چکیده:

This paper presents an investigation into the application of genetic algorithm (GA) for active vibration control (AVC) of flexible plate structures using non-collocated sensor and piezoelectric actuator. A computational model for the flexible plate system is first developed via finite difference (FD) method. Then, a piezoelectric actuator as an active element is considered to be coupled with the plate structure and the FD computational platform is further developed to model the active system behavior. The GA is then employed to obtain the optimum parameters of the controller. The simulation results clearly demonstrate an effective vibration suppression that can be achieved using the proposed control scheme
