چکیده:

Unilateral buckling of orthotropic rectangular plates which are supported by elastic tensionless foundation is studied. The classic theory of plates (Kirchhoff-Love) is used. The problem is modeled by finite element method using 16 DOF quadrilateral conforming elements. Hermitian functions are used to build appropriate shape functions. Effects of different boundary conditions, fiber orientations and aspect ratios on critical buckling load of plate on tensionless foundation have been studied. The results have been compared with previous works and good agreement has been observed
