چکیده:

A sensitive and simple method for simultaneous determination of nutritionally important minerals including Cu(II), Mn(II), and Fe(III) was developed. The methods was based on the absorption of the metal ions on a solid phase column prior to determination with atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). The column was formed from the alumina coated with sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) impregnated with 1-(4-boromo phenyl)-4,5-di phenyl–۲–para-tolyl-1-H imidazole (BPPTI), as a new complexing agent. The metal ions on the column was eluted by 5.0 mL of HNO3 6.0 M and were then detected by AAS.
