چکیده:

Natural gas is becoming a very important energy source in recent years. A sharp reduction in gas deliverability is observed in many low permeability gas reservoirs due to pressure drops at dew point. It has been proved that altering the wettability of reservoirs rock from liquid wetness to gas wetness could be improved the gas deliverability. In this study we examine type of fluoroalkylsilane on wettability alteration by sol-gel process, which is evaluated by capillary rise, contact angle and imbibition tests. The experimental results showed that the prepared polymeric network including terminal F groups was effective and provide good oil and water repelling characteristics.
