چکیده:

In this study, gelatin/beta tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) nanocomposite scaffold was prepared by solvent casting method. The cross-linking method was carried out by adding formaldehyde to gelatin. Themicroparticles of sodium chloride were used as porogen agent. Characterizing of nano β-TCP was determined using FTIR and SEM. Results showed that the size of particles is about 100 nm with spherical morphology. The scaffold characterizing was performed using FTIR and SEM instruments. Observation showed that a porous texture with pore size between 100-400 μm was obtained. The biodegradabilityevaluation of scaffolds was done by immersing of scaffolds in a simulated body fluid (SBF) solution atdifferent time. The biodegradability studies demonstrated a reduction in the degradation rate of scaffold due to presence of β-TCP nanoparticles. Furthermore, the effects of cross-linking agent and β-TCP nanoparticles on the bending properties of the composite scaffolds were examined. The results suggested that maximum bending properties was obtained from scaffolds with 1 gr formaldehyde solutions and 10 wt% β-TCP nanoparticles
