چکیده:

In this paper stability and morphology of a series epoxy siloxane nanocomposite in comparison with the pure epoxy siloxane resin was studied .Epoxy siloxane nanocomposite coating prepared by dispersion of nanoclay (1-5%) into epoxy siloxane matrix via sonication method in different times. Characterization of nanocomposite coating was evaluated by Optical spectroscopy, XRD tehnique. After curing of the coatings, their anticorrosive properties were studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) . The obtained results showed that presence of 3% nanoclay in the coating formulations resulted to surprisingly corrosion resistance and mechanical properties compared with pure epoxy siloxane resin.
