چکیده:

nano -cu modified glassy carbon electrode nano-Cu/MGCE was fabricated by reduction of CuSO4 in the prsence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide CTAB through potentiostatic method where CTABplayed a critical role in controlling the size and improved the dispersibility of Cu nano particles the electrochemical properties of methanol studied at the surface of either glassy carbon electrode modified with nano-Cu or bare glassy carbon electrode using cyclic voltammetry double potential step chronoamperometry in aqueous alkaline media . the results show that nano-Cu/MGCE can catalyze the methanol oxidation in 0.1 M NaOH solution.
