چکیده:

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were fabricated by using porous TiO2 electrodes derived from home-made TiO2 nanoparticles. The experimental results indicate that the effects of the bulk traps and the surface states within the TiO2 films on the recombination processes of the photo-injected electrons in DSSCs depend on the annealing temperature. Moreover, the TiO2 nanoparticles show much higher photoelectric conversion efficiency than the comerical TiO2 nanoparticles (P25). The mesostructures within the mesoporous TiO2 nanoparticles, are of great benefit to the dye adsorption, and then to the improvement of the photo-electrochemical properties of DSSCs. The DSSC based on the TiO2 electrode annealed at 550 0C exhibits an optimal energy conversion efficiency of 2.51 % under the illumination of AM1.5G
