چکیده:

The aim of this research was investigation of press pressure of green compacts based on MoSi2 composites on final density of synthesized samples by SHS. Firstly W, Mo, and Si powders with specific stoichiometric ratio were mixed by shaker to obtain solid solution of MoSi2- 20vol% WSi2.The obtained mixture was pressed by a uniaxial press under pressures100,150,200, 250 and 300 MPa in order to prepare green discs. Then these discs synthesized in an atmosphere control reactor. During synthesis process, the temperature of ignition and combustion were measured and obtained 1250 and 1450 respectively by thermocouple. Finally, the characteristics and morphology of the solid solution were studied by X Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) respectively.
