چکیده:

IN an arc welding process materials near the weld region experience temperature changes from room temperature to melting temperature. Modeling of the material behavior from room temperature up to melting temperature poses a challenge . For accurate simulation of arc welding processes it is usually recommended to consider temperature dependent material properties but high temperature material properties are either difficult to obtain or do not exist for many materials the objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of temperature dependency of thermo-physical properties on temperature distributions in gas tungsten arc welding of 304 stainless steel.
