چکیده:

An experimental study was conducted to investigate of the extraction of oxidized sulfur compounds from gas oil. Various types of solvents used for this purpose included acetone, acetonitrile, methanol and propanol. To select the best solvent and Solvent concentration for extraction, two criteria are considered in this study: high desulfurization and low hydrocarbon loss. It was found that acetone and acetonitrile of higher concentrations (~85%) could remove oxidized sulfur compounds with higher efficiency and low hydrocarbon loss.
