چکیده:

Crystallization behavior of soda-lime foam glass composition investigated by addition of iron oxide (Fe2O3) up to 32 %wt using reducing agent such as SiC. Crystallization temperature of Fe-bearing Diopside (Fe0.35Al0.2Mg0.44)Ca0.96(Fe0.08Si0.7Al0.2)2O6.12, Acmite/Aegirine NaFe(SiO3)2 decreased with increasing iron content from 900oC to 850 oC. Magnetite plays key role as an intermediate phase on which pyroxene heterogeneously crystallizes. Presence of SiC also intensifies crystallization without remarkable change in temperature. Samples with 29gr part weight Fe2O3, showed desirable foaming behavior along with crystallization
