چکیده:

despite of various application of dissimilar RSW reports in the literature dealing with mechanical behviors of them are limited this paper aims at investgating the effect of welding parameters welding time welding current and electrode force on the overload failure mode of dissimilar resistance spot welds between low carbon steel st 14 and dual phase steel DP600 mechanical properties of spot welds are described in terms of failure mode peak load and energy absorption during quasi static tensile shear test. ther distinct failure moded were observed during tensile -shear test:interfacial pullout and partial thickness-partial pullout failure mode correlations among failure mode welding parameters weld physical attributes and weld mechanical performance are analyzed
