چکیده:

In this study,Poly ethersulfone (PES) ultrafiltration membranes were prepared and modified by dispersing nano-size Aerosil particle (2% weight) in a PES solution (15% polymer weight).The effect of various delay time on the resulting membrane morphology were investigate. The membrane morghology was examined with scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The pure water permeability and NaCl , NaNO3 and CaCl2 rejections of membrane was also measured by filtration tests. . Results indicates that with increasing delay time, due to the presence of a dense spongy layer in the top layer of mambrane, Flux and ion rejection performances changed.
