چکیده:

Anodic oxide layers were produced on Ti–۶Al–۴V substrates using aqueous electrolytes containing dissolved calcium and phosphorus. Anodizing treatment was carried out at different times (45-135 min) and voltages (30-90 V). Different oxide layers were produced by varying the voltage and time anodizing. Thickness, surface roughness, surface morphology and chemical composition of oxide layer were investigated. To evaluate the biocompatibility of the oxide layers, electrochemical polarization test in Ringer`s solution was performed. Structure of the layers was studied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopic. It is found that the thickness and surface morphology strongly is a function of voltage and time anodizing. Increasing the voltage up to 60 volts, resulting to smaller pores up to 2μm, and it decreases the roughness. In general, increase in voltage decrease the roughness up to 0.13 μm.
