چکیده:

An experimental study has been conducted in gas fired resedental furnace. The effects of air-oxygen content on thermal efficiency of gas fired investigated. The experiments carried out in gas fired resedental furnaces with air –oxygen content from 16%-24% and natural gas as air/fuel feed. The results showed that lower O2 level from normal operation caused to decrease in combination of efficiency because some fuel is uncombusted. At higher O2 levels, efficiency is reduced because the additional O2 and N2 absorb heat, much of which exits the exhaust stack. Low O2 levels can also lead to soot and flame unstabilty and coke formation.
