چکیده:

In this paper a novel miniaturized epsilonnear zero(ENZ)metamaterial is introduced. ENZ is commonly attributed to a medium that its relative permittivity is between 0and 1. The unit cell of the proposed structure is made up of a metallic wire combined with a planar spiral structure to lessen theplasma frequency of the conventional rodded medium. This structure provides the ability of accommodating a periodic ENZ structure in a finite region. In addition, employing this techniquemakes the implementation of aminiaturized ENZ structurepossible in an easy and low cost procedure
