The earth stabilized concrete is made from earth, meeting with binders and water. The principle is to make best use of earth and to take advantage of the characteristics of its constituents. The architecture used is adapted to the material that has to work in compression. The material has good mechanical and thermal characteristics. Due to its high thermal efficiency, it provides a home temperature control that fits inside with the seasons. This material is interesting because it allows the economy of energy and protecting the environment Our work is on the durability of earth stabilized concrete, especially the behavior of earth blocks stabilized to the erosion and others aspects of sustainability related to the resistance to water and sulphates. The first line of research is to analyze the stabilization of compacted earth blocks from the effect of different types of treatment used i.e., cement, lime and cement + lime mixture on mechanical strength for dry and wet material. The results showed a good mechanical behavior when stabilization is mixed with the cement + lime or with lime alone. Furthermore, analysis of capillary absorption measured in blocks with 6, 8 and 10 ℅ of stabilizer showed greater absorption blocks stabilized with cement. Analysis of weathering processes due to continuous cycles of immersion in water and sulphated solution dosed at 3 ℅ followed by drying in an oven was carried out based on the values of weight loss in both media.
