چکیده:

The Single phase motors are very simple in structure, rugged and widely used in residential and small power operation circmstance. One of the essentialproblems of single phase induction motors (SPIMs) is their high torque pulsation which causes acoustic noise and mechanical damage. Torque pulsation also restrictsthe application of such motors when high precision application is needed. this paper proposes nonlinear Backstepping Control technique ,with the goal of torqueripple optimization. The design of a speed controller is fully given. The proposed controller is realized in thestationary reference frame assuming the rotor flux and stator currents as the state variables. Simulations of the control scheme presented are realized by the Simulink inthe Matlab. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.. In addition, the proposed controlsystem achieves cost-effectiveness in both initial and running costs
