چکیده:

In the present work effect of von Karman geometric nonlinearity on vibration behavior of a single-walled boron nitride nanotube (SWBNNT) has been studied. The SWBNNT is considered as a nanobeam within the framework of Timoshenko beam (TB) and nonlocal piezoelasticity theory. Loading is composed of a temperature change and an electric potential axially imposed throughout the SWBNNT. The governing equations of motion are derived using Hamilton’s principle and the numerical solution of equations is obtained using Differential Quadrature (DQ) method. The effects of geometric nonlinearity, external loadings and nonlocal parameter are studied in detail
