Today, according to the population increasing and the need for greater production to meet food needs ofpeople, use of pesticides to reduce pest damage to the product in developing countries, has increased.Given the importance of product safety and the other hand, pesticide residue on crops, harvest and even afterentering the market, study and track the rate of residual pesticides on agricultural products is very important.Therefore, in this study the residue amount of Fenpropathrin that is more regular, were measured, onvegetables in Tehran.To obtain the Fenpropathrin residue, 20 randomized vegetables samples provide from selling centers.Samples were packing and labeled and transferred to the laboratory.In laboratory samples separately extracted with using Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) method. Extract afterconcentrated with using Nitrogen flow, were injected into Gas Chromatography (GC) and GC/Mass systems.Recovery test at two level for each (0.1 and 1) with 4 replicate were done and their results median were99.78% for Fenpropathrin.Results showed in all cases we see pesticide contamination and their volumes were from 0.032 to 12.9 ppmand 3 cases were over Maximum Residue Limit (MRL).
