Major kinds of Industrial systems can be considered as Discrete Event Systems. These systems can be modeled by Petri Net. Many studies have been conducted on this issue during last decades to control these systems. This control includes preventing the system from entering the forbidden states and can be achieved using control places. But, when the number of forbidden states is large, a large number of control places may be generated. So, in this paper, we have tried to propose a method for designing a controller with small number of control places by solving some Integer Linear Programming Problems. The controller after enforcing the control places on the system is maximally permissive.
