چکیده:

Due to the competitive nature of global markets, particular emphasis has been placed on meeting theneeds of end customers. Ports are an important gateway to extended markets. Identifying, locating andtracking of containers in port are so important that aims at customer satisfaction. Automaticidentification with active RFID as an innovation technology in ports can manage containertransportation more efficiently and quickly. In this paper, after presenting a brief introduction andrelated work, a conceptual model is presented that describes port designing cycle. Then, based on theconceptual model an applicable port’s RFID-Based model proposes. The main characteristic of thismodel is its dynamism. This paper is not concerned with tracking containers on the ship side. Thefocus is on locating the containers on the yard once they have either dismounted from the truck orarrived by road at the outer gates of the port authority terminals or unloading from ship in marshalingyard.
