چکیده:

A new microprocessor based optimal fuzzy charger (OFC) for photovotaic applications under different environmental conditions is proposed. The photovoltaic system includes a solar panel, an OFC and two 7AH Ni-Cd batteries. A fuzzy controller is used to compute the optimal charger duty cycle under different operating conditions. Fuzzy controller input parameters are dP/dI and its variations (to improve accuracy) as well as the variation of converter duty cycle (to improve dynamic characteristics). The proposed solar battery charger is constructed. Theoretical and experimental results are compared and analyzed. The proposed OFC demonstrates fine performances as compared to the usual charger systems with direct connection of solar panel and battery
