چکیده:

In this paper an aperture coupled stacked microstrip antenna array is designed to have proper characteristics and an electromagnetic band gap structure is used to reduce the mutual coupling of the antenna array configuration. An H-shaped aperture and a composite substrate are utilized to maximize the impedance band width. Using a mushroom -like EBG structure the mutual coupling has been reduced as much as 10 dB and the impedance band width is 20%. Simulations provide the results to confirm the design.
